[I Need A Weedeater]

I'm a homeowner with 1 acre
Almost half of it is a wooded area
I like to go in and take down the locust sapplings once in a blue moon.
For the most part, I'll be using it mainly for trimming around the house
I've got one sidewalk about 15 ft long, so edging is a very small part of
the yard maintenance

I'm interested in either the T242X and get a blade attachment

OR

getting the C242 and get a speed feed attachment

I'm wondering if the handlebar on the C242 would be awkward for
normal trimming.
I know I'll probably need to pick one up and see how it feels at the dealership
I was wanting an opinion of those that use them alot
I'm kinda thinking the handlebar is a bit overkill for what I'm going to do

I wouldn't suggest the T242, it's got a history of carb problems and it's really too small for a brush blade. Spend more money and get the T261. It should be the best value based on cost vs. performance for your use.
