Here's another first hand account of the need to wear safety glasses.
Our family has some farm property about an hour away in Madison FL.
Once a month most of the family goes to do basic clean up in & around the house. My brother-in-law was pruning some over grown shrubs and ripped his cornea with a sharp twig- he was not wearing saftey glasses.
A day does not go by that I do not see some LCO's happily trimming and cutting along with out eye (or ear) protection. Man P.T. Barnum was right! There's a sucker born every minute.
My sister asked if she could ride my Wright Stander and mow some. I stuck my extra pair of safety glasses on her and fresh ear plugs and away she went.
Guys! Put those things ON.!!!
