I have a 2000 chevy suburban 2500 with a 6.0 and 4.11 gears 4x4 LT, does anyone know if it is pre-wired for a controller and if so where is the plug?

if its the new body style yes ,there should be a black plastic box with the cover held on with a plastic nut and you plug a tap harness after connecting to a brake controller .may be this will help

I don't know how the GM's are but Fords are prewired kinda. The plug is under the dash and you need a harness to plug in which has the pigtails labelled for the brake controller. Easy to wire!!! You purchase the harness at the dealership and costs about 15-20 bucks. I purchased our 2001 used and asked them where it was located. Again, I don't know how GM's are but the 20012 needed 2 fuses and a relay for the brakeaway to work properly. Hope this helps. Matt
