I'm getting ready to put a system in my own yard and I'm going to run Rainbird 5000 rotors and 1800 sprayers. What controller would you all reccomend?

One of the Rainbird ESP's. They are basically the only controllers I install, besides some Richdels or whatever their name is now. Haven't installed one of those for about a year now.

How much money you got and what kind of bells and whistles you need?

In my area this is what is installed the most?
RainDail by irritrol and Rainbirds

If you don't need anything fancy and don't want to spend too much money, get a watermaster timer made by oribit. They run about $20 at Lowes or Home Depot.

I just don't see spending a lot of money unless you need the capabilities of pro grade timers.

I think the RB E-class indoor is the most bang for the buck, with the Hunter pro-c neck and neck.

Sorry to have bothered anyone, I guess it is top secret as to how to get started in the irrigation business. There seems to be alot of knowledge in here but no one seems to know where to get it.

If you will take the time to read this current thread, there is an answer to your question. Also, what searches did you try? And has it occurred to you that answering the same question 2 or 3 times in 24 hours seems a little redundant especially since no one here gets paid to give out information?
