I'm currently reading "Lawn Geek" by Trey Rogers, on page 216 He indicated, "Quinclorac" a post emergence weed killer is relatively safe to be used on all cool-season new grass seeding.

Here are my questions:
1. Has anyone used Quinclorac on a newly seeded KBG lawn?
2. How old were the KBG seedlings when it was applied?
3. Was it applied as directed?
Did you mix it with any other weed control liquids?
4. What type ff result to you get?
Did it kill the weeds?
How did you do on crabgrass?
Did it have an adverse effect on the KBG seedlings?
5. Where can I purchase Quinclorac?

Thanks in advance for helping

According to my label, quinclorac (Drive XLR-8), can be used starting at 28 days after seedling emergence on Kentucky bluegrass. Same for fine fescue. Anytime is OK on tall fescue. It is a good product for crabgrass. Also did well for me on clover, veronica and violets.

Try here to buy it.
