Inslalled new RB DAS-075 Anti-Siphon Valves with new main line.
Customer had old valves hooked to hose bib and had a restiction so system would not work. Have 40 psi static and only 20 psi working pressure. Water company says this all they can supply.
Gpm is 13. Valves will open manualy. Have power and water to each valve. There are 4 valves and only one will work with the controller. Swapped solenoids and had no luck. Can anyone help.
Customer did not have back flow prevention installed. Did not want to spend extra money so I used anti-siphon valves. He did all of the original installaion. Most of his fittings are also blowing apart.

What's the matter, none of you can answer this?

Neither can I. Went back a couple days later and everything worked fine.

So Sam, share with us why the valves didn't work and then mysteriously did work later. Some other newcomer may benefit from your info in the future.

If I would get a response, I figured it would be from you (Mr. Irrigation).

The valves were probably dirty. Didn't flush the new main line enough. Tried them again the next day, and one valve didn't work. Cleaned it and it worked fine. Flushed the new main line three more times after this at 5 minute intervals. Flushed all laterals again also. Rookie mistake!

Always need to learn and want to learn more. I do a lot of repair and learn quite a bit of what not to do.

By the way Harold, I do read this forum quite often so keep up the great work.

Thanks
