I got this 52" Scag Hydro off of Craigslist that included the scag sit down sulky "Never seen 1 before" and the Grass Gobler catcher for 500.00 :)

I'm assuming that's in your garage? If so, good job.

They're dangerous, those sit-down things.

Watch where your knees are if you ride that thing,
if you come up on an incline the front casters will drive up,
this in turn causes the rear handlebars and steel dashboard to come down,
if your knees are in the way it spells bad news.

Riding through a ditch, same thing.

On the other hand you stole it for $500 lol

That is surprising you didnt have to cash a large check and give the remainder back to the seller to get this deal!

Lmao yeah or make the transfer at midnite in a ally somewhere :/
I was looking for a 36" but another 52 won't be a bad thing.

Hey, there's a scag almost just like this one in the stolen equipment thread. Just kidding. Great find. As long as the serial number isn't "rubbed off." I wish I could find a deal like that on CL. I keep looking but nothing but crap in my neck of the woods.

So far and both run.

And then you sell them? I'm looking for a great deal on a hydro, floating deck (Toro, Scag, etc.) about like what you've been finding.

I had a scag sulky like that. It was quite comfortable..but like mentioned- watch your knees. I also had a sulky made by 'roof' company. it had large bicycle type tires. I accually liked the roof better but was just to embarresing to use. I eventually sold both and went to a stand on Velke. Those scag ones must be fairly obsolete..not many seen. Maybe it is because how long it makes the mower?..but was fun to use. anyway- you got a steal on all that. I think I sold my sulky for $150..but can't recall anymore for sure.

AWSOME DEAL!!!!!!!!!!

I just hope it doest break down in about 10 hrs. or something, or turn up stolen.

Looks like a great deal :) Only if I could find a 36" in NC for that condition and price.

Oh yeah, don't forget to show us some pictures of how that thing cuts!
