The genius there who decided to put a black vinyl seat on a machine designed to be used in the hot sun should be replaced. They've likely changed that by now. Otherwise pretty solid but not as good overall as my Exmark.

Gravely HD ZTR? That is a high end homeowner model but looking at the specs it is almost the same as the 100 series commercial units. Smaller blade clutch, smaller tires, smaller tanks, lighter duty hydros and 8mph compared to 10mph on the 100 series.

I have a Gravely 34 ZTR. Its ok. Horrendous traction traversing slopes. Very touchy controls, easy to rip up grass in a turn.

Yup same issue with all other 34 or 36" ZTR mowers. Its the nature of the narrow framed beast. Our 34Z has 1500 hours on it. We use it daily.
