Tried em'. No better than regular. The big Kaw. on my ZTR REALLY did not like them.

No sir. Don't buy 'em. Waste of time and money to me!:blob3:
I agree. I've read studies that say there is no difference in Splitfires and regular spark plugs. Except the price!

Your correct, Bob. At the Wal-Mart here they're $2.49, the Champion's I buy are only $1.30!:blob3:

i bought two @ $2.79 , just to compare, seems to make starting easier, or that might be because it's a new plug;)

Hmm. Seems like our Wal-Mart here is getting a bit pricey.:blob3: I'm sticking to Champion! :)

Oh, thought you meant two for 2.80. My Dad used 'em in one of his lawnmowers before and he hated it, so all we buy is the Champion's. CJ8 and J19LM

Most of the plugs that the manufacturer recommends run at a certain heat range.Split Fire plugs may run your engine hotter and lead it to a premature death.

I wouldn't run these on any thing but a old oil burning engine to reduce plug fouling.

i bought one for my lawn boy 4 stroke and it makes the thing thirstier and thirstier for gas.

They are not worth it, in any case. I have used them even in oil burners and they don't last any longer. But I do use NGK Plugs and I do like them.
