Im having issues with my one machine, when I let go of the gun trigger it keeps spraying for a couple seconds and then trickles for another 3-4 seconds. I tried adjusting my pressure valve, changing the tip, but still doing it, the pump seems to be working fine and the trigger aint sticking so Im kinda stumped. Any clue what could be causing this?

i assume you are in stratford ontario, using a asphalt cutback sealer. Your type of system would usually us a type of pressure washer gun. You say the gun is not sticking, but really it actually is. Check for a little valve on the gun, where the trigger pushes. That sometimes will stick a little and cause the sealer to continue on spraying on for a short while. Lube it with wd-40 really good and get it so it moves free. If it is not that, then you may need a new gun, but that is unlikely.

Yeah Im from stratford, ont and I use a pressure washer type gun, I just put some wd-40 on it and worked with it a bit, its a bit better but its still gushing after I release the handle a bit. Im gonna let it sit till after supper and lube it some more and work with it a bit and see if its working better then, if not Ill go grab a replacement. Thanks for the tip, I was a bit baffled on that one and its a big relief knowning its just the gun.

Run some solval (tar and ashpalt remover) through the gun and it will clean it up.

They can ship you a case or individual bottles, or it comes in 5 gal. Pail or 205l drum.

I went ahead and bought a five gallon bucket of the Solval. The stuff is expensive but the peace of mind by having it on the truck is worth a lot more than the cost of the Solval. And five gallons is a heck of a lot cheaper compared to buying one gallon.

It's great stuff, all our trucks carry it!

I now carry the five gallon bucket of Solval and two of the quart size spray bottles and another five gallon bucket packed tight with pieces of cotton t-shirt material.

Is that stuff orange? I know I was using some orange color solvent before, not sure if that's the same, like is it strong like varsol?
Like ex: if you over spray on a white garage door (not very good I know) if you take it off with varsol it will dissolve the tar so the garage door will never be as clean as it was before. How would that stuff do?

This stuff is clear, and if I did, and not saying last year I hit a white garage door, but if I did, it cleaned up perfect, without much effort.:clapping: Just say'n.
