figuring out estimated taxes

I'm having a hard time figuring out estimated taxes. My income changes so much with picking up business, new jobs, purchasing of equipment, etc.

Didn't know if there was a multiplier or some easy formula for figuring it out. I don't care to get a refund or anything. would just love not to pay a ton in april.

Get with an accountant. My guys bases what I pay from the previous year's income. If I continue to make roughly the same amount each year, then I'll be good this year...or...will only have to pay in a small amount. As long as you send something in, the gov't will be happy.

Also...thanks for reminding me. Hahaha...mine were due on June 15...and...I forgot about them. Just wrote checks out for $1500 total.
