I am still interested in starting my lawn service back up again, but I haven't quite got the momentum going after working a regular job for 2 years because I didn't have enough business. I do have what I would consider the minimum equipment needed to do smaller lawns, maybe even medium size, although less profitable. I've been out of work recently so I would be interested in doing contract work.
In the past I did some lawns for another LCO that had more business than he could handle. He paid me a lower rate, so he didn't lose the customer and kept some of the money. I agreed to it because I didn't have to do any marketing.
For small lawns I would be willing to mow front and back and weed trim for about $20, as long as they aren't too far away, or there's 2 or more in the same area I can do at a time. This fee would not include an extra work or overgrown lawns. In fact, I do not have the proper mowers for overgrown lawns.
If you need other work done I can take a look, but this would mostly be limited to small to med sized mowing jobs. I'm located near medical center. I would expect to be paid after the first job, the same day. This policy is to deter people that just want to get free work. Also, I have no intention of stealing your customers; you will have to trust me on that initially, but I will work on getting my own customers. I am just looking for quick work right now.
I always do a good job.
I might consider temporary work as an employee but typically the pay is not high enough to interest me. If you want to train me as a supervisor that's fine, but I have too much experience to work for $7 or $8 an hour. If that's all you can offer please don't waste time contacting me.
Let me know if you think we can both benefit from a contract arrangement.
