I have ideas on pricing for this retaining wall but wanted to get some feedback in addition. I have a 145 Ton outcropping retaining wall which comes out to be 850 face feet. wall will be no higher than 6' and no special equipment will be needed other than the backhoe and loaders. What are you guys getting for installation?? The stone here my cost is $88 per ton delivered

Thanks

To let the others on this site that want to chat and or learn 3 bids $34,000 36,500 and 39,000 we won the bid at $36,500

88 a ton delivered is a great price. Is that after trucking, tax, palletizing, etc.? Who is that through? What kind of stone? And yes the pricing seems right but depends on the scope of the job.

Nope no sleep lost, i love it when lawn companys try to get into the hardscape and planting business. Their mistakes keep me going! Its going great right now ......

As for you bid you should of been more in the mid 40's and you also left at least 3k on the table........so i wouldnt get toooooo over excited but then again 36k job for a lawn mower should take the whole season!

plus....why is a company doing 1.8 million a year and bidding 30k to 40k retaining walls using an online forum to "check" prices?
