Hey guys , I have a problem with a new lawn that I took over a few weeks ago.

1st Sarted mowing 4 weeks ago, I dont do the fert yet because customer payed not nut job up front for the year. I have no idea what they are butting down.

2nd I but down Merit 0-0-7 3 weeks ago for grub control, as the fert guy doesnt do that.

3nd In Indiana here and had alot of rain this year, but been dry for 2 weeks now.

4th Now there is some major brown spot or patch in lawn, one spot is about 6ft wide by 6ft and is dead now and several spots in yard, Cant tell if brown spot or patch. But is getting worst. I would do soil sample but takes 2 weeks for me to get them back and might be to late then. Should I put fungicide down or what.

Brown spots are caused from many reasons. ...

The most common is soil not soaking and utilizing water, adequately. Plug the soil and see what the top 3" look and feel like.

1st look at your first, I would see what they are butting down, these things tend to be brown. Its in Brownsburg anyhow. Jus sayin
