Strange plant, what is it?

This plant is about 4 feet tall and looks a little like a banana tree. For the life of me I can not find anyone who knows what it is.
Any Ideas?

Hey It's a Chinese Yellow Banana, courtesy of the Hawiian Botanical Society. Comes from China, and is common in landscaping in Hawaii.
