Greetings all from the home of the Superbowl Champs, New Orleans Saints. Please help identify this tree. Hopefully the image is good enough. It was blooming this spring and is very beautiful.

Thanks all and have a good week.

Some close up pics of the leaf and truck/ branches would help. Whenever your trying to id trees and plants your taught to look at the leaf shape, the edges serrated or smooth? is it compound or single? Is the bark black, white, brown, green? smooth or rough? are there specs or other distinguishing marks on the trunk? Trunk and branches can differ as the tree matures so its good to see both.

It looks a little like a Japanese or Wax leaf Privit but I have never seen them bloom that heavily. They are really more of a hedge but can get big.

Chinese Tallow - It bears a kind of inedible fruit or nut. Pretty trees in the spring ,like that one, leaves turn bright red in the fall but it all ends up on the ground eventually, they do make a mess.
