Exmark price check

Demoing a 48 hp today. Looking for opinions on these prices:

2001 48" HP w/Kohler 18 = $6500
2002 48" HP w/Kaw 21 = $7000
2002 52" HP w/Kohler 23 = $7300
2002 52" HP w/Kaw 23 = $7500

Drive to Memphis and save a grand on the 52" HP. Right now they are $6499.

Have to agree with Hoss - keep shopping - I bought a 62" 25hp Toro last year for $7060 and Exmark was pretty close to the same price.

Go with the large horsepower. There is no substitute for power except for more of it. You will be happy in the long run. I prefer the Kaw over the Kohler but they are both good engines. However, if I had the chance I would definately go with the 26 efi Kohler but that is not one of your options unless you go with the bigger Z. The prices you listed did seem high. Shop around a bit.

Thanks guys. The prices did seem to be a little high, but the dealer is close and has been very nice,(of course they are all nice when they want to sell you something) does repairs right there, and has a loaner program when your mower is in for service.

How much of a factor is price for you? Would any of you want to save $500 and have poor service? How about if you saved $1000?

Beginning of the season the Exmark 60" w/27LC Kawi 2001 model was 9000 with striping kit.
26EFI was 9800.

I bought a 2001 Lazer Z HP 52" with the 23 Kaw on it for $6,400 last fall. Keep shopping and find a good deal. I would get the 52" deck over the 48" if I were you, and also, get the most horsepower you can-you will never regret it. Good luck.

I just bought a 2002 60" Lazer/25hp Kohler for $7500 with 5 hours on it (I put 2 of them on it when I had it for a demo).
0 hours was $7675

The 52" hp/23 Kohler was $6575.
