Your hourly labor rate + your hourly machine charge + your disposal fee + your profit% = what you charge

I normally quote an hourly rate of $30.00 for something this small. I would estimate how long it would take me to cut and quote that price. If I get done earlier...yeah me.

I've come up with a wierd "rule of thumb". If a homeowner has established shrubs, varying in size, but nothing that needs ladders or extensions I usually charge $5 a shrub. If you take in labor, clean ( takes the most times), and costs ( gas, debris removal and such ). It always seems to work out arounf the $50 an hour range. Larger hedge I estimate time and charge $50 an hour.

At most of our properties, regular pruning is included in our maintenance charge.

Georgia Grass..... How do you price out your landscape maintenance? Do you include mowing, fertilization and weed control, and the trimming and pruning? And how do you go about finding the pruning?
Thanks
