Leafs and Price adjustments

I have charged hourly rates and also tried just my normal rates for leafs on customers lawn at the end of the season. I've seen guys just vacuum them up with their mowers and leave too. Don't know if they charge extra. When your have to raise your front deck height pins to get all the leaves and not bulldoze them, your not really mowing. Would have to mow it again? How do the veterans handle weekly mowing charges when the leaves are falling, normal rates, extra charges, bid in from the get go? Thanks...

once it gets to the point of needing a leaf removal we start doing such, from that point on everything is by the hour. we use backpack blowers and push blowers to blow everything to the curb then suck them up with the truckloader into the dump. one guy doing that while the other one starts to mow with the z with the bagger to get any missed leaves.
