I live in ontario and have had a pro -tect setup for 3 years. I bought it and have never used it.. the hose has become no good, so was wondering if i could just use any high pressure hose of the same size. I saw a pressure washer hose looks to be identical it is steel walled inside and has the coating on the outside of the hose as mine. Anyways just was wondering if i could use this type of hose or what other type i could use. They want 200 buks for a 50ft hose where i get my parts

Wow, Pro-tect was a buck a foot a few years ago. Most in my area use Pressure Washer hose from princess auto. Or look for a hose supplier in your area, and they can make up any hose that will meet pressure requirements, and is tough on the outside to last longer. This is what I have done, and got a heavy duty hose, for 1/2 the price. Good Luck !

Why was the hose from pro tect not good if you never used it in 3 years?
