Hi im new to the fourms,
I am only 14 and I have a lawn care bussiness my dad had a Gravley Promaster zerosteer that I used to cut my own grass and my clients grass.
I reclently sold it because I downsized to a smaller yard that is only 1 1/2 acres my yard used to be 4 1/2 acres and I was just wondering if Ariens is a good mower?:confused:

Had one since 1986 and ran it until three years ago. Model RM830. 8hp w/ 30" cut. It cut over an acre every week from Apr till Oct. I change out the engine to a 12.5hp about 4 years before it was retired. Not sure how they are today???

With every brand you have different levels of equipment. the cheap zero is just that a zero made as cheaply as possible. They will not take much abuse or in some cases much use at all.

I have a single stage Ariens snow thrower, 21" walk behind lawn mower w/front swivel wheels 6.75 hp, and a rear engine rider 32" cut with a 13hp motor w/bagger works excellent for picking up leaves. Honest not a lick of problems not one little or major problem (knock on wood)
