My 7 prong trailer plug on my vehicle seems that the trailer is getting harder and harder to get it all the way in. My brother said spray battery terminal cleaner in a spray can into the plug receptical? any better sprays to clean up those plugs inside the plug area? What about muratic acid? It cleans chrome and copper (to a point)

No! And when was the last time you listened to your brother??????

Just put some white grease on the male prongs, it will be ok.

Compressed air, then with a toothpick carefully apply some die-electric to the female plug,
worst case scenario a new plug the entire kit isn't that expensive.

Coat the new plug with fluid film every couple months and you won't get any corrosion. Spray lithium grease or di-electrode grease should also work.
