The Yankee stadium sod

I was advised to seed the Yankee stadium sod grass by my house, but can’t fined any one who has it by house or know it.
My friend who is taking care of golf courses is saying that the best is 50/50 mix KGB and rye.
My neighbor has clean KBG only and looks perfect.
I really like dark green lawns.
Do you have experience with Yankee stadium sod? What is your advice?

Jerry, i vaugely remember that the sod for Yankee stadium came from Delea in East Northport. You may be ble to get the seed through them. I'm not wild about sod lawns but they are probably the best looking right now, as long as they are getting plenty of N and water. Most of the lawns out there are looking pretty beat up right now.
