Ocdc-02 exmark next series - issues

Just bought a OCD02 for my 52" Next Z. I installed per instructions and the thing does not want to close when I use the foot pedal. I adjusted the cable and still does not work right. Seems like it's hanging up somewhere under the cover where the springs and latch are.

Anyone have suggestions????

Yep. took it back to the dealer and they had to use a dremel and shave off a small ridge on the linkage arm so it wouldn't hang up. Works killer now!

My dealer is installing one on my x series I just bought. Suprisingly very little information about it online as far as closeup pics of it open and closed or otherwise...that I could find anyway.

Couple questions for the thread starter or anyone else who has one...
- How is it working for you?
- How far does it pivot back when it's in the open position? Does it increase the width of the deck any when open?
-Does it work with the plastic grass deflector in place up or down or does it only work if the grass deflector is rotated back on the deck?
