Moisture Sensors

Are any of you using moisture sensors. If so what make and model. None of the distributors in my area stock them. Too many problems with them they tell me.

Is there anyone coming down for the International Irrigation Show and Conferance. I'm signing up for five courses. The show is scheduled for October 24-26 in New Orleans. Classes are scheduled October 21-26.

For those of you who want to learn, this could be ideal.

My experience in residential and commercial irrigation is that rain sensors are better for the system owner. Moisture sensors are more suitable for containerized plants and agricultural use where crops and soils are similar over large areas.

A lot of ag irrigation doesn't translate well to residential and commercial use in my opinion.
