There's a dryer vent right next to the step. That's why we had to move it over a tad bit. You guessed wrong....I wanted it that way.

I'm not seeing anything at all in the pics that would dictate such. I do see in one pic on the left hand wall that appears to be a dryer vent, but that is no where near the steps............

Why people dont do a landing out their door is beyond me.. i guess a tripper step is more functional? Otherwise the patio looks good....:hammerhead:

Ok, but in the pic I exhibit below, I see plenty of opportunity to be able to utilize some creativity in successfully aligning the steps.

As a competent contractor, this is what I struggle with in terms of convincing a prospective client as to why they should go with our company that is $3,000 more than their other quote. Which is why I have a section of photos of other contractor's flawed work (unnamed) in my photo album, to educate a buyer on what to look for, etc.
