In the last picture, your slope is running backwards, is there a drain to remove excess water?

Umm yeah ....good eye Zeo.....someone might of read the level wrong? or the homeowner insisted on two steps!!!!! I will wait till the poster responds cuz i am still scratching my head on this one?

On your first picture, it looks like you don't have any side support for the step platforms, looks like the pvc fence is going to be responsible for that. :nono:

ps the curved caps look like chit. should have taken one.. cut it in half and then cut a consistent taper and repeat.

Sad as it sounds we probably all started this way years ago, but with information (internet) available today, practises like this could be avoided.

In the last picture you could have easily brought up this set of stairs so you would have just had a landing outside the door. It is always easier on the family anyways. Most of the time people are carrying things in and out so it makes it much easier to not have to juggle everything while your trying tom set up into the house. With the grade I see you would have had plenty of room to raise this up. Also I see your in South Bend, Indiana even with drainage your probably going to have major ice buildup. Unless you have a heating system.
