zoysia grass

I have been mowing for 5 years . I have several customers with zoysia
grass we bag the clippings but we have 2 customers that have us mulch the clippings I was always told ,right or wrong, to always bag zoysia to
keep down desease and fungus ,we have mulched the grass on the 2 yards for last season and this year too the lawn looks great they are both weekly accounts Is it really nessasary to bag the grass on zoysia ?

You will eventually have a thatch problem. I have to bag all my Zoysia lawns as those people love to water and pile on the N. These customers pay a premium for this service, but after 5 years I have no problems with dead patches.:usflag:
