Toro G3 Mulcher or Bagger?

I am considering a Toro G3, but I'm not sure if I should get the bagger or the mulcher. The mulcher would obviously be much easier, but I want to make sure that the thing really works as well as the salesman says it will :confused:

Does anyone have a G3 or similar system with the mulcher? Does it work?
