just picked up our new tiger, couldnt wait for the cheetah to come out next spring and felt safer going with tried and true.

35hp vanguard 61" velocity+, its technically a hybrid, we had them install tiger cat sticks b/c i like the double bend in them vs. the single bend sticks.

and a rough field we mow once a month at a church where we provide weekly finish mowing for. old red- massey ferguson 1020 hydro with 60" deck (20hp)

Damn I love that trailer, should have gone with toro or exmark to match it though lol.

surprisingly toro/exmark dont have much of a presence here. the only crews that run them are brickman and a couple large outfits (throughout n. ohio)

If you don't mind telling, how much did you pay? And also would you have rather gone with the 28hp CAT motor?

9400 for the mower and i went with the 6 mos. same as cash deal. with all the money to come in from our seasonal plowing accounts ill have this paid off in no time.

i have the money for it now, just need a V box salter before winter and wasnt sure our ferris was going to make it through fall without some work on it.

to be honest with you ive never really ran a diesel mower other than a cub tank at a dealers open house, the deals on the 35hp big block are pretty hard to beat so i dont think i couldve gotten into the cat for under 10K.

Those decks cut amazing in the wet and no clumps like Exmark.

That there is a mower!!! Good luck with it.

good job! i just bought the same mower. Get ready to start burning some serious gas though! and a little tip for you, when you run it out of gas you need to pull the filter and put a splash of gas on it to restart it. That fuel pump cant reprime itself just off of cranking the engine. There is actually a recall out on these so dealers can put some kind of one way valve on the fuel pump.

thanks for the compliments guys, no love for old red?? lol

hey picasso, i remember you said you wanted to get some hi lift mulchers, did you end up buying any? just curious as to which ones you were looking at and where from. the amount of grass that comes out of that discharges amazes me, we were so much more productive today.

yeah i git them from j-thomas. they worked waaaaay better then the stock blades. i burn about 15-20 dollars of gas more perday with that mower over my 29dfi. You have to make that money back in productivity.

well how bout going from cutting something 3-5 times with the ferris b/c of clumping to 1-2 times with the velocity+?? lol i hate rolling up to the accounts that we fertilize and mow...

Explain how they work better could you? I'm just curious since I am running stock blades on my Wildcat and wouldn't mind switching them out if they will work better.
