What's a good, inexpensive concrete chemical, house siding chemical that won't kill grass, and a good sealant you use on wood after washing fences and decks?

I like Cabot Clear Solution (oil base) on the wood because it's easy to maintain when needed. I would steer clear of acrylic products because they are very hard to strip when it comes time to do it again.

I've washed countless square feet of both concrete and siding with no problems killing plants using countless cleaners and bleach. The biggest thing that will help prevent problems is to pre wet the plants and then rinse everything when you are finished. I'll also add that hot water makes washing siding (vinyl) and concrete much faster and easier.

All we use on decks, is Ready Seal, its application is very easy, and the when the wood is prepped correctly, the longevity of the stain is unmatched.

Same here. We used to use Cabot's clear solution back in the early 2000's, but after finding ReadySeal from Sunbrite Supply there was no going back to Cabot's.

Ready Seal is a superior choice.
