Got a Question? I would like to know was is a basic lawn fertilizer application? I have heard of weed and feed but is there any others?

Yeah fertilizer.
Weed and feed is an upgrade from it. It is added to the fert prills.
I would suggest since you don't know about them you should leave this up to the pro's.
There is nothing basic about it.
Grass type? Zone? Weather? Temp? Turf density? Irrigated or not? Terrain? PH level? ETC......
Then you have your fert analisys which have many configurations.

Ya I better leave it up to the pros. cause I know nothing about fertilizer.

I wasn't being rude.
In the spring and fall you can almost get away with just about any fert but in this kind of heat you MUST be very careful of what rates and what you apply.

Ok is it a good idea to buy a lawn book and read up on fertilizer?
Like the ortho all about lawns book.
