My 1yr. old TLE-600

has completely crapped out. I bought this one last july. Took it back to the dealer and they asked about my gas mix, saying there was no sign of oil! After explaining that this was my 5th unit and I'd been using these for years, they then wanted to know if "anyone" had run this without air filters! (It was full of sludge??) HUH? Like I said, I've used these for years, and always went 3-4 seasons before I'd sell and get another. Anyone care to comment?

I was hoping that a rep might pop in with a comment or some help, but it appears not. I've heard some grumbling from more than a few shops about Tanaka support and structure.
