Hope this is not a dumb question, but can I use normal 30W non-detergent oil in my pressure washer pump, and not the 30W non-detergent label for pressure washer pump oil? Its just a 3.5 gal/min cold washer rated at 3600 psi. Thanks!

Yes, 30w non detergent oil will work fine.

Thanks Chris, nice looking set up and web site looks outstanding. Would rather pay $3 for a quart than $7 for the same stuff just packaged as "pressure washer pump" oil.
I agree that you can run 30 non detergent with no problems. I'll also add that I've run regular 30 wt oil with no problems and also 10w30 as well. The reason they recommend the non detergent oil is so dirt particles don't stay suspended since there is no filtration of the oil. I generally change my oil every 100 hours or less and have never even seen the oil look dirty or change color. I think that changing it on a regular basis is far more important than which type you choose.
