Hi,

I had pavers installed around my pool in the beginning of the summer. We need a new pool liner so I thought it would be good to clean the coping before the install. There is a lot of whitish salt buildup (efforfecence) which was there from day one. The rest of the pavers are fine. The copins is froma different compamy.

The guy at the stone place sold me a Seal King paver cleaner which is really a heavyduty acid. I diluted it in a bucket with water and brushed it on and then use baking soda to neutralize the acid. Some of the cleaner splashed on the sorrounding pavers and left circular discolorations. It's kind of like whiteish spots. I power washed these pavers and it helped a little but you can still see where it splashed. I also tried vinegar with no luck.

Do I leave it and let it weather in or should I use the Seal King cleaner on those pavers too and maybe the stains will even out. Last will sealing the pavers help since when they are wet the stains can't been seen?

I wanted to wait one season before sealing.

Thanks in advance
