I have a Super Z 60" with 304 hours and a locked engine. The engine label is missing and I'm not sure what model Kohler to price out. I know it's a Kohler Command Pro 30, but not sure which one to look for. The serial is 07061405 and model 928044A. Is there a way to tell from that?

First make sure your clutch isn’t causing the engine lock up.
The Kohler engine on your mower is as follows...
CV750-0026

I agree with PJ. I thought I had a locked up engine on my Super Z but when I dropped the clutch it fired right up. I ended up replacing the PTO clutch for $350 which made me much happier than replacing an engine.

Thanks for the info. Crank shaft is busted in half.

What model Kawasaki engine can I put on this mower?

Thanks PJ.
So the CV750-0026 will bolt right up? Local shop wants $3300 for one, but I found one online with carb and starter for $1756 delivered. Just want to make sure I'm ordering the right one.

That is the exact spec engine we use from Kohler, that will bolt right up.
Make sure your getting a new engine, price seems a bit low...
