Core Aerate + Slit Seed at same time?

Overseeding on Sept 1. Minimal thatch work is already done.

Need to know if I should wait after core aerating before I start the slit seeding? Lots of differnt opinions on this so I'm still sittin' the fence.

Also, should I top dress with something after core aerating or should I just let the holes close in on their own?

I usually core first, then slice-seed, then fert. , then get paid. They and the powers that be have to supply the water:D
