Whats up! I thought id show yall my new mower and trimmer I got. I got the mower today and the the trimmer a few weeks ago. The mower was advertised at 399.00, but rang up for 300! Its really nice, I dont personally like bad boy mowers but this mower is great. The trimmer is in stihls' "homeowner" line but is very nice and has plenty of power for my currently small business. Got a new name and logo for next season so ill have that to share in a few days.
Thanks for looking

I'd like to hear a review of that mower after you use it for a little while!

I'd be careful with the FS-55, because after 2 weeks, my carb was shot and I know several others who have had that problem as well.

Are the wheels on that Bad Boy metal or plastic?

I've had a Stihl 55 edger for years now and the engine is no trouble. I have had problems with the power switch and triggers.

Dang you mowed an acre with a 21in cut. How long did that take you?

radiant- thanks, I was kind of only cutting to get some leaves up
gravelyguy- i think they are a form of hard plastic
oakleaf- cant really say, because it was my front, back, and side yard, I didnt do it all at the same time

I ran a 55r for about 6 years and the only thing that gave me a problem was the on/off switch. Sometimes you have to hit the plastic piece to make the switch work. I upgraded to the 110 and no more problems. lol. I also have the 56r edger and have had no problems with the switch.

Nice equipment. I ran a 55r at first and it was reliable and got the job done. Eventually though I had to upgrade to the 90r because the vibration that the 55r had was making my hands numb after using it for about 10 minutes straight.

Nice, I am considering buying a new 21 so I can have one that is not going to break down all the time, how do you like that badboy.

That looks like a decent 21, I like the one wheel height adjustment. That's one thing I miss about my Cub Cadet.

the one wheel adjustment was one of the main reasons for buying it, and i like it alot, it leaves a great cut.

If you want cast iron reliability you can't beat the Honda commercial with the hydro drive is king of the hill. It cost's a bunch but once you own one you won't regret it. When I was on a tight budget I couldn't father dropping over a grand on a push but it happens. My first small area mower I used with my Scag was a Murray. Now that's embarrassing!

I have 2 of those mowers only mine are green with yellow wheels called (John Deere JS35). I also know that Snapper has the same mower but I am not sure what model it is.

They are great mowers for the money, that $300.00 mower will pay for it's self every day you use it! :canadaflag:
