anyone currently use or have used this one?

i have a used one being shipped to me. i've never used one, only the walk behinds. i have eleven properties that are 5+ acres and just couldn't see myself using my Ryan IV walk behind.

i have a 48" toro Z master (74444) with a 21hp kaw engine.

anything i should be careful about? look out for while aerating?

I have that same unit. It is the best pull behind on the market in my opinion. I am assuming you bought a lift kit for it? The only drawback is doing tight areas, it tends to jackknife easily when backing up/maneuvering.

the only thing wrong with the ryan is that you can't add additional weight. IE if you had drier than normal soil..to get the plugs pulled....

I had the 96" version that I sold to get a 3pt hitch mounted one. Ryan makes great products you won't be upset with your purchase

There is no reason to add additional weight, this thing is heavy ! You will grow to hate the manual lift, even with the tines each spinning individually. I pull mine w/ a 4wheeler also.
