I've used a walk behind blower a couple of times and it just didn't seem to work for what I do.

If the piles get too big with a blower, then I just use a tarp. Or, I'll take my little simplicity mower with the bagger blade and push them around that way.

Regardless with the process, I always bag the yard when I'm done just to clean it up completely, so having a few leaves left behind isn't a big deal.
