Do you carry a Landscape Contractor's License?
Does your State mandate a license?
I don't understand a little bit of money to start as being a licensed individual in landscape services. However, you can carry the license and start off small with filling small niche's and performing services to your current customers.

I'd start with getting any licensing you need for spraying, I don't think Indy has any requirements for landscape contractors in general, but look into it.

Start out by doing maintenance and work your way up to installs. Most companies around here don't want to deal with the smaller jobs, so go find them and get your feet wet.

It takes time to build your business up. Just do what you can, and find a service that is profitable for you. Keep selling that service, and buy more equipment with the money.

Do a good job, see where that gets you.
