I'm looking for a decent cart to tow behind the mower. I would like to use it for hauling sod and mulch. Mostly bags of mulch rather than bulk. I'm not looking to haul huge amounts, but more than a wheelbarrow would be a big help. I'm not looking to spend a fortune, but would like something of decent quality.

Just keep your eyes open on craigslist around you for one of the regular little dump carts like agri-fab or something.

We have a few of these yukon tracks brand carts. They are awesome. We use them goose hunting in the plowed fields and they go through hell. Tied to a 4wlr and run through mud, corn fields. They are expensive but way worth the money!! They use to make a moose model that is what I have but these are just a bit shorter in length.

I work for agri-fab and we make some quality carts for atv's and mowers. I've got a lot of these as toys :D. Well the poly carts are VERY durable and the tandem axle trailer is a TANK. You can purchase or order our products from several big box stores like home depot and sears or you can order direct from our website. These are all American made and you cant beat the warranty. This product will last you a lifetime.

I have an Agri-fab 17cu ft utility cart that I have used since I was twelve and have only had one problem with it in the last eight years. I have used it to haul everything from cut sod for disposal to my trimming equipment for my yards that are just down the street every week.

The only complaint I have with it is that the hitch part that bolts to the tongue to make the clevis needs to be redesigned so that it's stronger. When you load the trailer, even with a load that is WAY under the maximum capacity (a push mower, a walkbehind edger, leaf blower, and two trimmers is the load it sees 99% of the time) that part tends to bend out and after a while it will snap where it bolts to the tongue. I've had to have mine welded and so far so good. Other than that I would not hesitate to buy another one today.

I have had two agri-fab trailers, one that is no longer with us due to the tires filling up with mud and then the tires bent the axle backwards, messing up the conneting metal under the trailer (not able to rebuild). The other I had converted into a mini lawn trailer, where I took 2 pieces of uni-strut and a few j-hooks for trimmer racks. I love it but with pulling around a 21" push mower, blower and 2 trimmers. The axle has bent down a little bit, wearing on the inside of the tires. I used to use it behind my ztr when I first started, now I have upgraded to the big boy trailers ;-) . It still has lots of life on it, I just wish it had a bit wider and stronger axle to get the tires outside of the trailer, and a bit heavier tongue and frame under it.

I hate sounds like a salesman trying to push our product here (because i'm not) but I'm fairly certain that your trailers/carts have a lifetime warranty and if they parts are still manufactured you can probably get replacements free of charge. I'm not 100% sure on that though......

The other thing, our engineers have done some crazy, amazing things the last couple of years. They have done some awesome things with our carts. The new dual axle trailer is a monsters with a 1000 lb load capacity. The thing is 5' long and the tires are huge for multi-terrain functionality. I dont have one of these yet but I really want one :D

They've also recently developed a single axle cart that is also 5' long with a 1500 lb capacity. We've come a long ways over the last couple of years.

Sorry guys, I get excited about our product because I feel like its top notch

I saw the cart when you first posted the link, but I notice it is gone now. The one on the Sports Authority link is still there, but the shipping is almost as much as the cart :dizzy:

It looks nice though. Looks pretty low and has wheel bearings.

I was hoping to see some Agri-Fabs in stock somewhere here locally, but Sears had nothing. HD had a couple light duty pieces, and Lowes had some China specials.
