Finally purchased a "real" work truck. My wife is super worried that when I drive this ride around, all the hot chicks will want to jump in! She said to bring 'em home...she'll cook up a very "special" dinner for them!
Here's what I got in it so far:
1999 Isuzu NPR (chevy 350), with 180k miles - $3000.00
Shipping from FL to TX - $950.00
Dovetail Ramp, custom built - $1800.00
Total - $5750.00
I can't complain!

Nice truck! I would like to get one but we bag all of our lawns.

Very nice. Hope it works well for you. I like the custom mounting of your xtreme trimmer rack. Those are the best racks out there.

I'm looking for the same truck. You are the second person on here who uses a box truck. Since it's not diesel, how is the gas mileage? Chevy V8's are really thirsty.

Looks good...........does the roof leak? Looks like like someone couldn't read low bridge signs.

The mileage is about 9/10 per gallon, but compared to what the repair cost would be if I had to repair a diesel engine, I consider it a wash. I was looking at a diesel, but decided against it after I found out it was 625.00 just to BUY an alternator. My mechanic, who services both diesel and gas NPR's said that the Chevy 350, while it is more thirsty, more than makes up for the cost in repairs and maintenance. The roof does leak (bought it like that) but plan on having that fixed this winter.
