I thought that when I asked but wasnt sure.Thats a lot of sq ft with 3 tanks! Wonder what the numbers are ? I think a max is at 200K so with 3 tanks around 300K ?

after a few years with my jr model, I really wish I had purchased a max!! I like the compact ability of my jr, but wish it had more spray capacity without compromising the fert storage capacity.

Andy - what is the cost of upgrading to the 10" tires? I would assume they just bolt on.
what is the best way to increase spray capacity on the jr? would love something interchangeable. My program is all dry fert so I have rounds with just dry/no liquid and then some with all liquid/no dry.

i was wondering the same thing you have a bigger tank you can replace on the jr? take the 18gal tank out and install a bigger one in place of it?

you can do anything and i am sure they can build anything you would like if you can weld and imagine, or pay someone else to............................. if you want it, then make it or have it made.

I'll be adding another z this spring. Sounds like they are making a few cosmetic changes to make the z a little more stream lined. You sure can't go wrong with the Zspray. We have a unit that's 6 years old and still runs and operates great.

change is good, i am sure it will make me want a new one that much more( wehave three ofthem, and i thin the oldest is only 3 years old,a hahahhaha)

when something is improved, you always want the newest model dont you.

any details on the improvements?
i did hear that the pump is not on the tank anylonger and under the control panel, but i dont know if it is true.

today was the first time out with it.. very impressed with the extra liquid capacity!
applied 1/2 pound of N using 25-0-0 liquid. 20 oz of 25-0-0 per 1000 sf using the 1/3 gal. per 1000 sf tips . thats 11.75 gallons of fert to the 25 gal tank. WOW! i love it!

Sounds like you are going to love the extra tank. I assume it is just removeing a a few bolts and the two hopper levers? Is there any agitation with the extra tank? Meaning could you run a wettable powder out of it? Just curious. I have the jr and they have an interchangable tank for that one also. Really want it!

wilson, i have not hooked up the new tank yet but it looks easy to do. they give you all the parts needed plus if you order now they will knock off 25% all options

personaly i almost bought the max, but got the intermediate because I had a few backyards that are too big to push and back pack, the days that I blow out 30-40 gallons of herbicide I am wishing I bought the max.

i'm right there with you, but i went with the jr. they have the interchangable 18 gallon tank also. i'm really considering it, but want to know about the agitation factor or wettables.

Yes, the extra tank will have agititation as well. With the 4 GPM pump we are usually always moving more liquid than what we are applying, so the liquid needs to go back into the tank. You can run wettable powders, we just recommend pre-mixing.

I installed the extra tank. How sweet it is. I love it. My son uses my intermediate with the 19 gal.tank and made the coment "its always me going back to the trUck to re fill" I think what I need to do now is pre mix my nurse tank to help him re fill faster.

Well it seems like you really like LT Rich products. I am looking at picking up an Intermediate at the North GA turf show in Dec. is their anything that is difficult to learn about the machine. I have maneuvered a max and it is just like a hydro mower. I am a very small company but if i get a large account i would like to be prepared for it. Has anyone on here on lawn site made a cheat sheet for gran fer it would save a lot of time and product.

thanks for any info :usflag:

You will like them. I have 2 aerators and now 2 sprayers ,my son works with me now. If you get a machine from them get the longest host possible on the sprayer it will come in handy. I got the
1/4" and I see no difference in it with the 3/8 hose.
