Im sure you remember the new boat i got. Well I have learned a few things. Being a first time boat owner (jet skis dont count) its lessons hard learned.
#1 always check the fuel. Ran out on the first day.
#2 never, I mean NEVER set your 500 dollar digital cam on the poling platform , and tell your self "I will remember it"
#3 Gaters will hit a top water lure if you flip it infront of them!
#4 DO NOT go out into the harbor on a day with a 1 to 2 foot chop. More like 5 to 6 foot seas. Though I was gonna swim home.
#5 Cat fish will eat anything. Got a 8 pound channel cat on a hot dog!!
#6 Bass dont like to be caught.
#7 dont forget the fishing poles at home.
#8 if your 4 year old child catches more fish then you do on his first trip. Throw him in and tell the wife a gater got him.
#9 a Bream will fight just as hard as a bass. Dont get to excited lol
#10 A bad day fishing, is ALWAYS better then a good day at work!!
