Thought I'd help my peeps out with a little freebie, if you want it. Integral Lighting (the guy who made the thin step lights popular) have this new Contractor Loyalty Rewards Program that they've set up. You get a small rebate after you've purchased a lot of their product ($5K in purchases gets you a $50 Visa Card). But that in itself isn't what's enticing. In my opinion, that's not even worth keeping track of my purchases for several years, which is how long it would take me to buy that much IL fixtures, even though we use a fair amount of them.

The enticing part is you get a little "Contractor Field Kit" just for signing up for the program! And this little field kit comes with a decent volt meter, 1 free IL6 light fixture, hard case, and a little sample of each of their 16 available colors, as well as some literature. For the volt meter and free IL6 alone it's worth signing up!

Also, they say once you're approved they'll put your contact info. on their website as an approved contractor. I am not holding out any hope that I'll get any solid leads from that. But it can't hurt.

Here is the link to sign up;

And here is the info. about the program in general;

All good info. My distributor gave me one two years ago. Comes in handy the fixture has a mini transformer on it so you can plug right into an outlet. I use the color swatches the most. Helps the picky client. But as for the voltmeter.... I put that one in the garbage on day one. Its the 2 dollar one they sell at harbor freight.

I signed up and received this neat mini demo within a few days. Although I'm not a big fan of Intergal, I was impressed with their willingness to send this kit for free. Just thought I would share what comes in this kit.
