I have a customer who wants me to slice seed his yard. He has bare spots due to drought conditions this summer. It has been in the mid 50's to low 60's this past week, and dropping down to mid 30's at night. Will this cause the seed not to germinate...either gonna put down some tall fescue, or kentucky bluegrass....or something else if anyone has suggestions. I live in northern kentucky. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try pre germinated ryegrass. Start using hot water--Keep the water warm if possible.

Riggle knows....

Otherwise, try a dormant seeding in a few weeks.
