Things were ridiculous here in West Ky with no telling how many of the black water spraying travelers doing the $0.09 and $0.10 psf thing. At the begining of October i had property owners telling me i was the ninth and tenth person to stop that week wanting to seal their driveways.
I saw several driveways that were sealed this spring and needed sealing again three months later.
Some of the newly starting out seal coating guys who live here in the tri-state area made some of the biggest messes i had ever seen and were working so cheap im sure they will be flipping burgers to make it through the winter. Im sure they will soon be wanting to sell their rigs for emergency Christmas cash.
The only way i could get any newer customers was to actually knock on their doors and give them a thorough education about various types of seal coatings, application methods and why a seal coating application should last at least two to three years before begining to show signs of needing to be sealed again.
