Replace a 6ft bed with an 8?

Hey everyone i have a question that some might think it stupid but i really dont know the answer. Can i replace my 6ft bed with an 8ft or would the wheel well not line up because the wheel base is longer?

yes you are correct ,the frame is shorter not allowing it .:)

Just put a flatbed on instead.

The fame is longer between the back of the cab and the rear tire and the longer bed won't line up on a SWB truck. I agree with White Gardens,Just put a flatbed on it.

I'm trying to keep the truck looking stock because it's also a personal truck.so the flat bed would really work
