I have just purchased this 52" ZTR machine. I think the cut is excellent even though the machine was abused by the previous owner. What has me baffled is that when I make a spin type turn to the left the whole deck jumps up and then falls back.

What on earth causes that behavior??

check your mounting struts and or support bushings. anything that attaches the deck to the frame must be checked.

have another operator drive the machine while you watch
the deck and the drive wheel to see if it rubs the tire while turning and go from there.

That's the key....get another operator and watch what is going on with the deck. Turns out the new anti-scalp rollers are slightly wider (not oem) and the sheet metal mounts are bent slightly, this all adds up to the rollers are riding up on the front left wheel during a turn.

Thanks for that hint, you saved me from pulling out more of my thinning hair!
